As we discussed last Tuesday night, Robin & Melissa Martin have kindly opened their home and invite Broward Emerging Christians (BEC) Meetup members, friends and family on Friday evening, December 19, 2008, starting at 6:15 p.m., for Christmas fellowship. Their address is 1211 S 23 Av (South of Rodman St.), Hollywood, FL. Bring only the gift of your “presence” and let them know a food item you can bring to share when you RSVP, no later than Wed. 12/17. Also, bring any instrument you’d like to play and anything else you’d care to share.

      “ This was an incredibly wonderful Meetup. First - Thank you, Robin & Melissa for having us all over. I know that it was a sacrifice for you in many ways... I won't list them all - and I'd miss a few - but "Thanks." The food was great. (I'm still full.) But the sense of community and God's presence was tremendous. Meaningful conversation was going on all over the room... some spiritual, some relational, some otherwise - but all uplifiting and significant. Two or three were there (actually about 9 or 10 I think.) We met in Jesus' name. He was faithful to His promise to be with us in our midst. It was the perfect Christmas Fellowship -- Emmanuel -- God was with us. ”
