  •  Hey, Steve. I live out here in the hinterlands of Chester, SC. My husband, James, and I hope to be able to come to some events in Charlotte. However, as well as living in Chester, I work in Columbia and he works in Union, SC. So it may be difficult. At any rate, it's nice to know you guys are up there.

  •  Me again- liked your idea about focusing a meeting on women in the church- I think there are plenty of women out there with varying positions...should be interesting! If you'd like to have a meeting at myplace (picnic) as the weather gets better, let me know. I am pretty centrally located now.

  •  Steve- the newmonasticism isn't really operational, so couldn't get any contact information from it. Do you have any available for the closest groups? Thanks. Great seeing you tonight.

  •  Hey, Steve. Wanted to thank you also for what you said about wanting the group to be defined by relationship in response to my observations about the meeting. I agree!

  •  Thanks for hosting the meeting again tonight. It was great to get back in the swing of things a bit. I love what you said about what defines us. You said it is not about our theology, it is about our relationship. I like that.

  •  Thanks I look forward to the meeting on the 13th!

  •  Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to meeting you. Steve Burleson recruited me to help start a cohort in Monroe. I anticipate being at the next meet up. Common Heart is a community of Jesus Followers from about 15 local churches. Currently our main missional endeavor is visiting and delivering food to those in need. We have seen many moved along in their faith - both those serving and those being served. We recently moved to a new facility. Equiping Saints to Serve is our moto.

  •  Hey Steve,
I've been reading Brian's books for several years and I appreciated the chance to get up close and personal. Thanks for the preview of his new book you blessed me with as well. It was great to get to know some of y'all from the local cohort. I hope to see you again on my next trip to Charlotte.
    Blessings,
    Ray
