Purpose: To discuss, & to even experiment with, being 'church' in a post-modern & post-Christian, emerging culture. Who should come? This is a conversation for anyone who has ever imagined the 'church' actually being more like Jesus. Why this group? What if 'church' is not primarily about doctrine, programs, tradition, paid clergy and expensive buildings? What if church is about people seeking to know God experientially and learning how to love one another - however they may differ from us?

What's Emerging in Christianity?
We are looking for your thoughts, your experiences, and questions from what you have been reading or hearing about emergent christianity. We will keep Jesus central, yet not hesistate to discuss much in Christianity that has its roots in all kinds of practices and ideas other than Jesus.
Food is available at the restaurant - Irish fare. It will be wonderful to talk about God while enjoying great fellowship and good food.
