Introduction
I am a former fundamentalist asshole. Former staffer at WIllow Creek and Saddleback and a few other mega-churches. Now bouncing from the far right to the far left to a little right of center. The liberal mindset in the political realm is irritating.

What Lance is saying about this Meetup Group
This has alot of potential IF we talk about what we are actively doing in the mix and not constantly answering the question, SOOO... WHAT IS EMERGENT. This group should be something where it is not ME CENTERED but centered on others. A cooperative of prophets, artists, and thinkers outside the box. We need to talk about and encourage one another in putting the our talk and discussions into action, not just talk. I propose having a monthly meeting collaborative where we talk about what we are actively doing and moving beyond the what is it jargon. Let's make this a group of encouragement, diversity, and engagement of wrestling with one another's dirt and push one another on toward living out our faith in new and fresh ways. We do not need rockstar speakers that come through once in a while. We need a solid community that has the qualities I just mentioned above. I know alot of you want this to happen so please let's do it. Make the commitment to knock this one out of the park!
