Introduction:
"I'm a 30-something, professionally-train ed minister, but don't hold that against me. ;-) I moved to Austin in '04 to found one or more emergent discipleship communities (i.e., churches). I'm currently attending Hope Chapel with my wife and son."
How did you find out about this cohort?
"Via emergent village website."
Are you involved in the leadership of your church?
"Yep, see above."
Are you currently involved in an emergent community?
"I recently started a small group that I hope will grow into a discipleship community. I want to focus on spiritual transformation through a relational interaction with the Truth and forming a deep community. Is that emergent?"

  • hey, just wanted to say hi and wanted to say thanks for starting the group, i'm hoping to move down to austin in the next few months but i'll be down there a bit in the next few weeks so hopefully I can make a meeting. PEACE

  • Thanks for the cordage lesson yesterday Nate! What a fabulous skill to have for wilderness survival! I've already passed the technique along to two very excited girls, 11 & 13 years old (a friend's daughters) who are looking forward to applying the info to non-survival-re lated activities (such as augmenting their fashion wardrobes!) plus, my cats think the rope I made is THE hands-down best cat toy ever invented! They send you their eternal gratitude.

  • More stone points, this is great.
    Welcome to the group.

  • This is a great idea.
    Thanks for all you do.
